Counter-Strike or Call of Duty have always been the first to come to mind when thinking about top-notch, fast-paced military fps games. For the VR platforms that we all have, such as Population: One, Onwards, Zero Caliber, and those for more cutting-edge first-person shooters like Robo Recall or even Super Hot VR.

Comparing all of them, Contractors offers the Quest 2 player the closest thing to the Counter-Strike experience we all desire. The Contractors game play is excellent! Similar features, a wait list for all players to show up, and the option to add bots for those who aren’t as brave. Like every team-based game, chat is properly presented, and for the most immersion, you should coordinate with your teammates.

All handguns and machine guns are comfortable to hold and have fairly accurate reloading mechanisms that need manual magazine reloading. One can quickly switch between guns and equipment by pulling out extra magazines, grenades, or a secondary weapon like a knife from their utility belt.

When first presented, the primary menu is straightforward and simple to use. With the most recent update Options for single players and multi players are both clearly laid out and easily accessible. But the Modding Community, which is integrated directly inside the game, is what makes Contractors sparkle. Mods provide this game a good amount of ongoing enjoyment by playing with various themes, game choices, and modes.

Recently, we evaluated Star Wars Battle Front II: Clone Wars, which is a noteworthy mod. The gameplay of this unofficial version truly captured what Star Wars Battlefront could have been if it had been released as a stand-alone game, giving it a unique feel and feeling. A squandered chance or, maybe, the producers of Star Wars games are intending to release something new soon since their most recent single-player action-puzzle game, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, has held up quite nicely. We eagerly await the arrival of lightsabers in the mod, which is receiving regular updates from the modder.

We had a fantastic experience playing and interacting with the Contractors community overall. There were welcoming folks willing to teach new players how to swiftly reload their weapons or even how to reload from an ammo box. The gameplay is enjoyable for a game that you may finish quickly and leave.

Graphics : 7.5
The graphics are adjusted down to a low-medium level setting, and the game focuses more on gameplay and effects. You’ll see some grainy aberrations and that players who are shooting at a distance seem difficult to see.

Gameplay : 9.5
The game stands out for being highly replayable and a fun way to kill time.

Sound : 7.0
Effects and noises have been precisely specified and tweaked. Although spatial audio was there, it did not feel entirely realistic and did not sound particularly impressive during our testing period.
