China, Xiaomi Corporation in China unveiled its augmented reality (AR) glasses. The Mijia Glasses Camera from the firm has a display component on one side and camera sensors on the other.

The augmented reality glasses are presently available for pre-order on Xiaomi’s crowdfunding website, Youpin. The glasses cost 2699 Yuan ($31,362) at retail and 2499 Yuan ($29,038) during a crowdfunding promotion.

The Mijia Glasses Camera is currently only offered in China. A second 8-megapixel periscope telephoto camera and a 50-megapixel main camera are located on the left side of the 100-gram smartphone, according to Xiaomi. The Livemint story also stated that only the secondary camera has OIS.

The Mijia Glasses Camera can accomplish 5x optical zoom and up to 15x hybrid zoom, according to Xiaomi. Additionally, it stated that the gadget aims to fuse augmented reality technology with intelligent visuals.

The chipset in the glasses is powered by Snapdragon 8-series.
