Qualcomm this year announced the new Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 Platform for AR, MR and VR Devices will bring a new support for 4.3k display resolution per eye!
It will present a much noted up to 15% higher GPU and 20% higher CPU max frequency performance which will definitely unlock more spectacular experiences.
This chipset will also allow 12 or more concurrent cameras to track heads, hands, controllers and eyes with better precision. Qualcomm will support technologies such as Wifi7 and Wifi6E with Bluetooth 5.3 and 5.2 connectivity for a much lower latency.
With these updates coming this year we could see new VR headsets coming out to compete with Meta Quest 3 and could see something up from HTC, Google and Samsung!
